I purchased some hard chocolate the other day. I don’t believe I have had some in atleast 10 years. I guess I was too chicken since I am always struggling with my weight.
After the electricity came back on I guess I decided to redecorate my home and re visit childhood memories.
The last time I prepared hot chocolate I always used regular milk and a pot to boil. This time I will preparing the chocolate with Silk milk and a pot to boil.
The last time I purchased the hard chocolate it had directions with a pot. Now there are direction for a microwave. LOL!
Funny how things change.
The hard chocolate has been popular since 1912. Simply amazing.

My mom used to make hot chocolate that way! This makes me want ot go out and make some too!

I just wish I had gone to the Mexican bakery. Semita(sp?) goes real good with a hot cup of Mexican Chocolate.
If you ever try Semita. Put some butter on it and let it warm in the oven. Darn I am getting hungry again. LOL!

My grandpa had such a sweet tooth that sometimes he would snack on one of the bars. Mind you had false teeth.
So you might want to brush your teeth if you decide you just want the chocolate part.
It is very sweet.
